These are gorgeous, Gina. Yeah, it'd be good to have more activity. I don't have any friends who do digiscrapping yet. I'm trying tho. A new friend has downloaded the Gimp and I've given her some sites to get some freebies to get her started (including SgD, especially for the tutorials) so hopefully she'll get the knack & come on board. Did you see there's a new Gimp version? Haven't got it yet. My sister, bless her heart, has indicated an interested but nothing more has come of that yet. I stopped nagging her ages ago, lol!

I didn't know there was a new Gimp out, I will look into it. I didn't want to learn Gimp, it seemed so confusing for me at first, (I have been with a vector art program for 10 years) but now I am absolutely loving it. I have Megan (our 15 year old) learning it as well, and we compare notes to see what we can teach each other. It really is a fantastic program and to be free at that.

I know. It's a fantastic programme. Heck, why pay when it does as much as most of the others, some of which are very expensive. I see that Megan has been busy lately, lol, with all her uploads. She's doing really well. How great that you two can compare notes. I find I always learn something from someone else. Even some little tip that can lead you to discovering something else you might not have thought of. I love that! I'm surely hooked. I sit hunting through my kits (I love just admiring the artistry), gazing at wonderful work in the galleries, and sometimes even making my own layouts, lol! It can take me ages by the time I tweak things the way I want.
