Poster: ginaMO (see this users gallery) We took our kids to Dauphin Island for vaction this year. None of them had ever seen the ocean or walked along a beach. They had a great time finding shells and marine life. Luck for all of us, Dad grew up near the beach and was able to identify everything. Great sketch and layout! I'll have a go at this one. I didn't do the ones about me as I find it hard to say/write nice things about me, lol.
In NZ, nowhere is that far from the sea. There must be millions of people in the bigger countries who haven't been to a beach. What a wonderful experience it must have been for your kids. Must've been awesome.
I've heard that even in Auckland, which is in a very narrow part of the country, there are children who have never been taken to the beach. Hard to believe.
