I have been ordering 12X12 prints from http://scrapbooksplease.com and I am very satisfied with them! Standard matte prints are only $1.99 and now on sale for $1.49.
They also have a gallery for you to upload your jpegs with ease and keep track of what you have had printed and store what you want printed. Great company! ![]() Last edited by brendam : 09-02-2007 at 06:41 AM. |

Yes, thanks for that link, Brendam. Our daughter lives in the States & I'm thinking it might be a good gift if I have a layout printed & delivered to her over there. In fact, it's a great idea!

Wow, Robin, how much better to get a scrapbook page of photos and journaling in the mail instead of a letter. That's just an excellent idea! I'm going to do the same for our kids grandparents who are out of state.

Yes, that's exactly what I do except I just started scrapbooking and so now I'm putting the layouts I have printed into a book then sending them the book. After they receive the books I'll continue to send completed pages they can just pop in!
The other bonus I've found is that I get many more photos now than I used to because they know they will get them back as scrapbook pages! The other feature they have that I forgot to mention (really helps me as a beginner) once you upload your page to the site you can click on it and enlarge it - I've been doing this and finding errors I didn't see on my screen so I can then fix them before printing. I'm definitely going to give them a try, their prices are reasonable. How well do they ship?

Glad you asked because that's another great thing about them- I get 16 prints at a time and that makes it priority mail for a ship charge of $7.55. After the 16 it goes up to about $10. Of course you can do less, but having just found them I have a lot of pages waiting to get printed!
I have my prints 4-5 days after I submit my order. The other great thing is that you can ship them out as gifts in the envelpe they ship to you in - very safe and sturdy- priority envelope - just relabel. If you choose to send them direct as gifts they have it set up so you can ship to seperate addresses. I'm too insecure at this point and have to see them first so I can change them if I feel the need! B |

I will givem them a try too. I normally print my layouts at www.sbtoshare.com but they do take about two weeks to get them to me. Plus is good to have other options. Up to this point, I thought they were the only decent layout-printing service that was afortable.
I also love giving print outs during family reunions or events. The last one I did was for fathers day. I have a printed layout in a frame to my husband [ He got two for two daughters], my brother and my brother-in-law. They love them! The one I am currently working on is my sister's graduation. I already print it out, but I am still waiting to make a copy of her graduation video [for me to keep] before I give her both. ...Now that I think about it... I should frame it for her as well. She has so many layouts that I had given her that she started thinking that she should just get an albumn! Maybe I do that instead of the frame. Here is her graduation layout: http://www.scrapbooksgonedigital.com...to/471/cat/531 Thanks! Norma |

I use the website www.mpix.com and they are terrific! Their prices are comparable to the other sites that offer this service but the turn-around time is usually 24 hours. They ship your prints back to you via USPS Priority Mail for $4.95. Normally, if I place an order on Monday, I will receive my prints back by Friday of the same week. I've ordered from them numerous times and the quality of their photos is fantastic. Just thought I would add them to the list in case someone needs their photos back quickly.

Scrapbooking has gone digital in a big way. Even many paper scrapbookers are doing combination or hybrid pages that include digital layouts and dimensional embellishments. A traditional scrapbook page is 12 x 12 inches, which can't be printed on most standard home printers or at most photo print shops, pharmacies or discount stores....
