Wow! Am I glad to find y'all! I've been considering digiscrapping for quite some time now. I've been researching software,a lot, and have found tons of info. info., most of which involved using Adobe, Photoshop, ect. Well, as you know those can become quite pricey. When I discovered GIMP, I was a little skeptical, but decided to go ahead and try it out. Well, I've just downloaded it and I'm ready to take the plunge! ...with a little help from my fellow Gimpers! Ok, I know that sounds cheasy, "Gimpers", but I'm just so glad to know I will have a place to go for answers.

I use to use a program called Scrapbook Factory...and I loved it; but it wasn't compatible with anything else. That's when I discovered the GIMP! I have been using it for about 6 months now, but I am far from being an expert. I would be glad to help you if I can. You can contact me by email tigerlilli3@comcast.net.

Let me know if you find any good you tube videos or other sites with more tutorials. I'd like to find more on shadowing and how to use masks. Right now I'm trying to figure out how to center the items on the page...I'm sure its something simple that I just am missing!
