Sorry if I've been MIA

Sorry I haven't been around in awhile. Life isn't giving me much chance to breathe lately.

Last month, my dh was in the ER again due a bloody nose that wouldn't stop - by the time he went in to the ER, it was about 10 hrs. They pretty much stuff a big wad of padding in his nose & it stopped after 3 days. It's b/c of the blood thinners he's on.

Then my 2 youngest were sick w/horrible fevers - 103 to 104 that lasted 5-6 days. And, of course, they couldn't be sick at the same time, so 2 wks of sickness. And I'm on antibiotics, too, and no rest.

Now, my grandmother is in the hospital. My parents went away for the weekend & came back Sunday afternoon to find her unconscious on the bathroom floor. My worst nightmare. She seems okay but they're keeping in her for tests to see why she passed out in the first place.

She's 95 & I'm not ready to let her go.

okay - I got a load of laundry from the washer to the dryer and it's now 11 pm. I should go to bed. I feel so drained.

I am sorry to hear you are going through some tough time. I hope things get better for you and your family soon.

Thanks so much. My grandmother is much better now - she's finally out of the hospital. I was there visiting her everyday for hours. We would watch movies on my laptop - another reason I couldn't scrap. hehe

She didn't have a stroke - Thank God but we don't know why she fell in the first place. She must have fallen shortly before my parents came home. She can't bear weight on her legs too much. Although she was getting up in the hospital to use the bathroom. The nurses were astounded how much she was getting around.

We're finally better. But that was a rough 2 wks w/my kids having that viral fever. They both had temps over 104 degrees. And as soon as the motrin wore off, they were up. So, if they went to bed at 8pm, they were up at 4 am. And I couldn't sleep until I knew the motrin kicked in & their temps were down.

and my house shows it - its so messy, I'm afraid if child protectionservices comes in, i'm done for.
