I can't get past this stumbling block!! I open a new project, but when I add and edit layers, they aren't letting the underneath layer show through. For example, I open two layers with background paper, then select and delete a section of the top layer. All I get is a black white spot, not the layer underneath showing through. What am I doing wrong?? I've worked in PS and this just happened automatically? Thanks!

Kept looking and answered my own question! I watched your video and I was doing it all wrong. Now I can at least get started! Thanks!
