OK, I was browsing through www.gimp-tutorials.com and came across something I think will work for the metal look I am going for. I am going to play around with it on things other than fonts and see what I can come up with. I have some hand drawn frames that I am going to try to make them look like metal wire frames. I also found a tut for making brushed metal strips with or without words. I also have one for making a corkboard!! I will post a list when i get done sorting through for the ones that are most scrapbook related!!!
