There are a few options.
image>mode>gray scale colours> desaturate for sepia: Filters>Decor>old photo and un-select defocus and mottle and reduce the border to 0. There are also a number of options in the FX Foundry filter pack. There is also an awesome filter by Eric R Jeschke (redskiesatnight.com) (www.gimp.org/tutorials/sepiatoning/ ) You can set it to any colour you wish, but the preset gives such a beautiful soft sepia colour that I much prefer over B&W... I find B&W a little harsh sometimes. |

Here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/gimpfx-foundry/ It actually has that Sepia filter by ERJ (I have some filters in duplicate... if I ever have extra time I need to erase some :P ) I love some of the photo enhancement filters in it. It's a wackload of filters similar to what is in filters. Some are the same but different options. Love the high pass filter for sharpening photos. Way too many to name, but I find quite a few useful. |
