Default postcard dimensions

can anyone help me with the right dimensions to make a lay out to print in postcard size?
I would like to learn so i can prepare my christmas cards...

I made my own x-mas cards last year. First I got a nice 6x4 inch template and used that for my lo and when finished got them printed and stuck them down on folded card stock and mailed out to loved ones. They were a huge success.

I normally do all of my christmas cards and party invitations in 4x6 in.

I also do them for my nieces and friends kid's birthday parties. I really like the personal touch and the fact that they are much cheaper than the actual "Hanna Montana" invitations. Since I only do them for my personal parties/non-commercial - is perfectly legal.

Here it is not so much known! it does comes up on children tv here in belgium i think.

Yes, Hanna is a big hit over here in CA. You can see here any where, selling all kinds of things: Cloths, makeup, toys, and even yogurt!

She is huge over here.
