How do I install GIMP on my computer?

I have a new computer -- with Vista installed-- now will Gimp work with this platform?

Absolutely, we have several computers at home here one with XP and the other Vista with both GIMP working fine on them

Version 2.6.7 comes with GTK files, only install and works nice! I use Windows XP SP2 Professional. New 2.7 still beta (some bugs can appears). Visit GIMP org and see.

Can GIMP be loaded to a computer with Win 7?

I google it and it seems like the latest version of gimp works with windows 7.

Well, it loaded on WIN 7 just fine. I will mention you should install the Gtk setup first. When I tried to install the GIMP it told me I did not have GTK and I was really confused. Finally I saw it and installed, then the GIMP went fine.
NOW I have to learn how to use it. LOl
