When you have your file open in GIMP, go to Image-->Scale Image. There you can change the physical size of your page, and you can change the dpi, too. I usually change to 600 x 600 and 72dpi for the web, or whatever is allowed on the website. Once you change things, be sure to "save as" so you don't write over your nice big page. Then save it as a .jpg, too, so you can upload it to the web. HTH! ~Jen
