Large Format Printer

If anyone is thinking about a large format printer so you can print your own 12 by 12 layouts, I would like to recommend the printer we bought. It is an HP Deskjet 9800. We have printed everything from 4 by 6 photos to 13 by 19 posters with ours now and we really love the print quality. For inexpensive 12 by 12 prints I have found the "Epson Photo Quality Ink Jet Paper" to be wonderful. It comes in 13 by 19, so there is some trimming, but the prints look great. The paper is matte finish and is not as thick as most phot papers, so inserting two layouts into a sleeve is very easy. For a more traditional look, Office Max manufactures a glossy professional photo paper that is comparitively inexpensive and turns out incredible results.
