taylormade r7 cgb max irons are the best irons I played
Let me start off by saying that I am a 7 handicap golfer and wasn't really sure if taylormade r7 cgb max irons would be what I was looking for in an iron since the traditional line of thought is to get a set of irons designed for low to mid handicaps when you reach my handicap. I took a chance and bought them and have not regretted it for a second. The ball launches high off the club face, fly straight as an arrow, and are about 10 to 15 yards longer per club than my Cobra 2300 I/M irons. Even mishits get good distance. I have had problems with my old set hitting my 4 iron, I even gave up on it and got a hybrid. I don't use the hybrid anymore after hitting the CGB Max 4 iron. It is the easiest long iron to hit that I have ever tried. The only thing that some may not like, but is not really a problem for me, is that there really is no feedback from the club when you hit a good shot. In fact, there really isn't much of a feeling to me at all. However, I take this as feedback, because you can feel the mishits, and when you hit it good and don't feel it, that's feedback to me. I would recommend this iron really to all handicap levels. ____________________________________ Titleist 910F Fairway Wood Titleist AP2 710 Forged Irons Callaway Diablo EDGE Fairway Wood taylormade burner plus irons |
