Just purchased my first kit and ready to get started!
 

Hello all!

So glad I found this site! My family and I recently took a Disney vacation - and we came back with 1300+ photos as souvenirs! So I figured this warranted something more than a regular photobook I usually make on Shutterfly. I had seen some awesome sample books in their gallery from users using digital scrapbooking and I had no idea what that was or how to get started in it. I can't believe it took me this long to find out how huge of a market this was on the internet. I was a pretty avid traditional scrapbooker during the early 2000s, then the kiddos came along (now ages 5 and 2) and I have less and less time and more and more photos!

I was searching disney or "mouse-styled" (haha love that) kits that I could start out with and was very intimidated. But then I found the SgD store and gallery and this forum! It was a hallelujah moment! Anywho I'm on my third page, courtesy of the 1 Big Mousey Vacation kit I bought, I'm finally getting the hang of photoshop elements 8, and I am so pleased. I'm looking forward to learning a lot from all of you and have to say that I am totally in awe of the designers that put these kits and elements and papers, etc. together! I don't know how you do what you do, and I will probably never learn, but thank you!!:)

I very glad you found the kits you were looking for and that you are now trying digital scrapbooking. There is so much staff you can do with digital scrapbooking !! Is amazing! Not just scrapbooks, but also party invitations and even the goodie bags -- so have fun! I am looking forward to seeing your layouts.
