increasing size of paper

Hi! I am new here and need help. If a tagger size paper is 300dpi, is it possible to increase the size without losing clarity?

What I do is I save my layouts 300dpi and then save the same layout as 72dpi to post to galleries. It comes out fine both ways. Hope that helps
