I need 100% Help In Gimp Scripts
Well lets start off because this is a lot to cover :doh5: I've heard of Gimp scripts, supposedly they are like Photoshop actions. I don't have it in my Gimp and I can't find the download nor do I know how to put it in the Gimp so it recognizes it. Then I need to find a script that can stroke, scale, and save. Help! I'm totally clueless. And here are some smilies explaining my mood.

Hello Boobear,
Just gimp scripts are like photoshop actions in a way, but they are also very different since you have to create them by coding them, as opposed to photoshop actions where you save your "steps as you go". Basically to install a gimp script, you just need to put it on a location where gimp can find it. To find the location to put them go: File->Preferences->Folders->Scripts Here is a website with gimp scripts: http://registry.gimp.org/ - Norma |

Just so you know, my are located on this directory, maybe you can try putting them on a similar directory on your computer and check to see if GIMP sees them.
Here are my directories path: C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\scripts C:\Users\my-account-name\.gimp-2.4\scripts |

Well, that is the location that you would put the scripts on, so that the GIMP can find them.
Now, I guess, the next step is to find the script that you want or need. Possibly from: http://registry.gimp.org/ and copy them to that directory location. |
