New to the GIMP/digi scrapping
 

I have several questions I need help with!

I cannot figure out or find a tutorial on cropping my pictures in shapes other than squares and rectangles. I would like to know how to get my background papers as well as photos in circles and ovals. Also, I am brand new to digital scrapbooking and I am interested in saving my pages to a disc that can be viewed on a TV in a slideshow format. Is this possible and if so, can anyone point me to a website that can teach me how to do this? Thank you!!!

This tutorial explains how to cut any paper into a tag shape. Is the same concept. Just think of the paper being your photo and the tag shape being any shape.

Regarding the windows video... I do not have a good tutorial page to point you to. I know that it can be done because my brother literally had to walk me thru all of the steps, but I do not have a good tutorial. :-(

try to use path tools then when completing the path make a selection then delete the part you want to remove...
